Common questions
How do I report an error?
Email us with:
- the page address (URL);
- what is wrong (for example a wrong capital, outdated population or misspelled name);
- the correct information and, if possible, a source such as a government website, the UN or the IMF.
Can I use your maps in my project, class or website?
Yes, for personal, educational and non-commercial use. A link back to AfricaMap.net is appreciated. For commercial use, please email us first. See the downloads page for printable maps and the About page for the sources of each map.
Can you answer travel or visa questions for my trip?
We cannot give individual travel or immigration advice. Our visa requirements tool is a general guide; always confirm entry rules with the embassy or official e-visa portal of the country you plan to visit.
How do I report a technical problem?
Tell us the page, your device and browser, what you tried to do and what happened (for example, the interactive map did not load).
Are you affiliated with a government or organisation?
No. AfricaMap.net is an independent website funded by advertising. We compile information from public sources such as the United Nations, the IMF and the World Bank; see the About page.
